Lorraine has a passion for beautiful interiors and a keen eye for detail, focusing on creating elegant contemporary designs for residential spaces. Having qualified in 1999 from internationally acclaimed RHODEC Design, Lorraine is the consultant interior designer for an Architectural Firm as well as working with private clients. Lorraine offers a number of interior design services tailored to meet individual requirements, from one room design consultations to full design service and project management to turn key fit outs.
In her own words she says
“you must start every project with an open mind. It is essential to work closely with the client to understand their personality, their individual likes and dislikes and know how they intend to use the space. Communication is absolutely key. While some clients have a clear sense of what it is they like, the majority of clients rely on the designer to engage in a way that helps tease out their preferences to create the optimum space in terms of form and function. My aim is to encompass elements of beauty and style, to create a sense of comfort and ease and most importantly a feeling of belonging and individuality. How a space functions has an impact on our level of calm. When we remove clutter and give everything a home of its own we can create an organised, tranquil sanctuary that has a positive impact on our overall wellbeing …… this is ultimately what I strive to achieve for my clients.”
